Law of Attraction: You Gotta Have Faith

For the most part, our culture places a high premium on rational, logical thinking. We value science and its ability to test and prove things. I am not knocking any of this stuff as it surely has its place in this world. Humanity as a whole has benefitted greatly from scientific thoughts and processes and rational, logical thinking is definitely the way to go in certain situations.

With that being said, however, heavy reliance on this type of thinking and only willing to accept concepts that can be proven can prove quite a hindrance when it comes to living your best life in the exact manner you wish. Just because we cannot ‘’prove’’ something exists in a scientific spin-something-in-a-test-tube, run a clinical trial-type way, does not mean something does not exist. Just because something cannot be ascertained with a logical and rational mode of thinking, does not mean it is not possible.

The concept of the law of attraction receives a huge amount of resistance for these very reasons – people say we cannot prove it and that it does not make sense on a rational, logical level. Yes, these two things are basically true, but again, this does not mean that these concepts cannot exist. Also, I would argue that experience serves as proof, but obviously not the kind of proof that we associate with science-type stuff.

If you want to live the life of your dreams, you have to have faith, no two ways about it. You need to learn to trust. You need to give up the desire to have everything make sense logically. You have to be okay with believing in something that cannot be ‘’proved’’ in the traditional manner, at least not yet anyway. This makes many people uncomfortable and understandably so as we have been conditioned to reject this kind of thinking. We are taught to believe it when we see it, but from my experience, you will see it when you believe it.

If you are even the slightest bit open to the ideas that your thoughts, feelings, intentions and expectations play a role in your reality, I urge you to give this stuff a try. You may have to work really hard to suspend your normal way of thinking and processing information. You need to understand that you cannot possibly figure out the million ways the things you want can come to you and that if you try to figure it all out logically, you will surely fail because you will not be able to figure it out and you will conclude it is not possible and create an energy that will repel the things you want. You need to give up the burning desire we have for things to make sense in the way we typically define ‘’making sense.’’ To me, this stuff makes perfect sense, but through the filter of rational, logical thinking, it surely does not.

If you really want to make significant changes in your life, faith is a necessary component. You will not get very far without it. There is a lot of crappy programming that is responsible for your undesirable circumstances you find yourself in now and unless you are willing to concede that there is something larger than yourself out there that connects all of us, an energy that we can draw on to influence our life, you will never be able to overcome all the limiting beliefs that put you where you are today.

Law of attraction and faith go hand in hand. Be willing to believe in something good. Be willing to believe that you can get the things that you want, some way, somehow. Just focus on the ‘’what’’ and leave the ‘’how’’ to the Universe or whatever you like to call that all-powerful force.
